Include minutes, 1726-1817, of St. George's Parish, Fredericksburg, Va., recording the names of vestrymen and the churches served by the parish (Mattapony, Germanna, and Rappahannock), salaries, fees and tithables, financial accounting for support of widows, orphans and illegitimate children, and poor and elderly residents of the parish, glebe expenses, and the sale of church pews and assignment of pews by lot. Also include a correspondence record, 1809, detailing the parish's concern that a minister, new to the parish, had previously been divorced in New York.
